Coaching for leaders
CONFIDENTIAL thinking space for those carrying responsibility
your people look to you for clarity
where do you go to find yours?
you’re good at what you do, but it doesn’t mean that you always know what to do next.
There’s a decision you keep coming back to - you’ve looked at it from every angle, but you still haven’t made the call.
There’s a conversation you know you need to have - but you haven’t quite worked out what you want to say or how you want to handle it.
Everything feels like a priority - and the important stuff keeps getting pushed aside by whatever needs your attention right now.
You’re spending too much time reacting - fixing problems, answering questions and dealing with issues that land on your desk.
You could use someone to bounce it off - but the people around you are involved, have their own perspective or expect you to have the answer.
You know something needs to change - you just need the headspace to work out what, make the decision and get on with it.
you don’t need someone else’s answers.
You need the space find your own.
leadership COACHING GIVES you the space to work it THROUGH.
The strategy that needs a review. The decision you need to make. The conversation you need to have. The problem taking up too much headspace. Or the bigger question of what comes next.
Leadership coaching gives you dedicated, confidential time to step away from the day-to-day and focus on what matters.
No one else’s agenda. No judgement. No telling you what you should do.
Just focused conversation, straight questions and the space to challenge your thinking, get clear on what you want and decide what happens next.
Find clarity. Make the decision. Take action.

Dedicated, confidential coaching for managers, directors and business owners who need somewhere to think things through - without someone trying to influence them.
Better thinking leads to better decisions.

What changes when you have the space to think properly?
You know what deserves your attention - and what doesn’t.

You have the conversation instead of putting it off.
You focus on the priorities that actually move things forward.
You step back from the day-to-day and see the bigger picture.
You trust your judgement without constantly second-guessing it.
And you deal with what’s in front of you with clarity rather than simply reacting.
Clear thinking. Confident decisions. Purposeful action.

I know what leadership looks like when the answer isn’t obvious.
I’m Nat Heys. I’ve spent over two decades working alongside managers, directors and business owners as they’ve navigated difficult conversations, people problems, change, competing priorities and decisions that have real consequences.
That experience has taught me something important:
Capable leaders don’t always need more advice.
Sometimes they need the opportunity to step away from everyone else’s opinions, agendas and expectations and work out what they think.
That’s where coaching comes in.
My 20+ years of HR experience means I understand the world you’re operating in. I understand the pressures, the people dynamics and the reality behind the decisions you’re making.
But when I’m coaching you, I’m not there to tell you what I would do.
I’m there to listen. To ask the questions others might not. To challenge your thinking. To help you look at the problem from a different angle. And to give you the space to work out what happens next.
You bring the experience. I’ll bring the conversation. Together, we’ll create the space for clearer thinking.
What we can work through
There’s no set curriculum. Because leadership rarely follows one.
The coaching conversation is shaped around what’s happening in your world right now - the decisions, conversations, challenges and opportunities that need your attention.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly formed coaching goal. We start with what’s on your mind and work from there.
Decisions that need making
Step away from the noise, explore the options and get clear on the way forward - so you can stop going round in circles and make the decision.
Difficult conversations
Work through what needs to be said, what you want to achieve and what might be getting in the way - so you can go into the conversation clear and prepared.
Priorities and focus
Cut through competing demands and get clear on what actually deserves your attention - so your time goes where it makes the biggest difference.
Strategy and the bigger picture
Create enough distance from the day-to-day to challenge your thinking, explore possibilities and look at where you’re heading - not just what needs dealing with today.
People and leadership challenges
Work through the situations that aren’t straightforward - performance, relationships, expectations, boundaries or team dynamics - and decide how you want to lead through them.
Change and what comes next
Whether you’re stepping into a bigger role, changing direction, growing a business or simply questioning what you want next, coaching gives you the space to work out what that looks like for you.
when there is no label for it
You just know something isn’t quite right. Bring it to coaching.

Yes. Confidentiality is fundamental to the coaching relationship. We’ll discuss and agree the boundaries of confidentiality before we begin.

No. Although I am a Chartered HR professional, the coaching service and HR consultancy are different relationships.
When you engage me as an HR consultant, you’re paying for my expertise, advice and recommendations.
When you engage me as your coach, my role is to create the space, challenge and questions that allow you to find your own way forward.
If something arises where HR advice would be useful, we’ll make that distinction clear.
-
No. Sometimes knowing something needs to change is enough of a starting point.
We’ll work from there.

Coaching takes place online, making it easy to protect the time wherever you’re based.

Coaching could be right for you if there’s something you want to think through, change, decide or handle differently - and you’d value confidential space to work it through properly. Some clients come for general reflection, on their performance and behaviour.
You don’t need to have a perfectly defined goal or know exactly what you want from coaching before we start. Sometimes you simply know that something feels stuck, difficult or more complicated than it needs to be.
I won’t tell you what to do or give you a plan to follow. I’ll ask questions, challenge your thinking and explore what’s really going on, what you want and what you want to do next.
If you’re looking for someone to give you the answers, coaching probably isn’t the right fit.
If you want somewhere to think - openly, honestly and without judgement - it probably is.

You’ll receive an email from me, providing a link so that you can book your call at a time to suit. You can also share any relevant information in advance, if that would help
